The first footage for next year’s Captain Marvel premiered at this year’s CineEurope, presented by Kevin Feige.
Set photos from Captain Marvelwere very prominent when the film was shooting in California, causing further anticipation among fans for the reveal of the first footage. Some lucky attendees of this year’s CineEurope were welcomed to Feige holding a Marvel presentation. The presentation closed with the first footage from Captain Marvel and it sounds as if the character will be playing a huge role in Marvel’s next phase.
According to MCU Cosmic, the first Captain Marvel footage introduced attendees to the character of Carol Danvers, played by Brie Larson. Apparently, the footage focused on making Danvers out to be the “new face and leader” of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The character’s massive strength was also discussed, but no details beyond that were revealed.
Sadly, Feige has made it clear that Marvel will not hold a Hall-H panel at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con. This makes it hard to predict when we’ll get our first footage from Captain Marvel but hopefully we get our first look at Marvel’s next solo film sooner than later. We’ll make sure to keep you updated.

10 Marvel & DC Villains Who Can Take Down Thanos
Thanos may have just taken down some of Marvel’s finest superheroes in Avengers: Infinity War, but he’s not the deadliest villain in comics. Both DC and Marvel are full of characters who are more powerful than the Mad Titan.
Admittedly, whenever Thanos is in possession of all six infinity stones he is the most powerful being in the universe, but anyone can harness that power if they successfully gather all the necessary components. If anything, Thanos is just incredibly patient and willing to wait to achieve his goals, a trait not many supervillains in DC or Marvel have. With the gauntlet, Thanos is essentially an immortal God who can snap his fingers and turn entire worlds to dust, but without it he’s just another villain who wants to rule the universe. He’s clearly a strong and terrifying guy, but if he were to face any of these villains without his Gauntlet, Thanos would be in big trouble.
