The Clone Wars’ Star Be Teasing A Finale At SDCC?

Star Wars The Clone WarsSince it’s debut on Cartoon Network ten years ago, Star War: The Clone Wars was a favorite amongst Star Wars fans, who were no doubt saddened when Cartoon Network unceremoniously pulled the proverbial plug on the series, preventing it from getting a proper finale, though fans did at least get Star Wars Rebels, as well as the upcoming Star Wars Resistance later on.

That might change with this year’s Comic-Con, which will feature a tenth-anniversary panel for the show, thanks to an ominous tweet from series star Dee Bradley Baker:

It’s possible Bradley might be referring to something else, but he could also be hinting at a proper finale for the series. Given how other fan-favorite shows like Twin Peaks and Samurai Jack have gotten revivals to conclude their storylines, it’s possible that this could be the case. Heck, Firefly got a movie, so who’s to say the Clone Wars can’t get one to end it’s storyline? Until then, fans will have to wait and see what the panel has in store for them, and await the premiere of Resistance.

The new animated series will feature appearances by Poe Dameron and Captain Phasma, with Oscar Isaac and Gwendoline Christie reprising their roles. The series will also feature the voice cast of Christopher Sean (Days of Our Lives), Suzie McGrath (East Enders), Scott Lawrence (Legion), Myrna Velasco (Elena of Avalor), Josh Brener (Silicon Valley), Donald Faison (Scrubs), Bobby Moynihan (DuckTales), Jim Rash (Community), and Rachel Butera (Tammy’s Tiny Tea Time).

Stay tuned to Heroic Hollywood for the latest news on Star Wars Resistance as we learn it.
